Article 1 — Parties and documents
1.1 Skin-Vibe, at https://skin-vibe.live/ (the "Platform"), is operated by DIGITAL NOXEN LIMITED (the "Platform", "we" or "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under number 17413307, with its registered office at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, England. "The Member" means a person who has signed in to the Platform through Steam.
1.2 These Terms and Conditions and the Refund Policy set out the contractual rules for using the Platform and completing purchases and sales. The Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information, and the Cookie Policy explains the cookies and choices available. By placing an order or offering a skin for sale, the Member agrees to these Terms; where separate consent is legally required, including for optional cookies or early supply of digital content, we request it separately. All four policies are provided in English.
Article 2 — The service
2.1 The Platform is a trading service for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) in-game skins and related digital items, operating in two directions: the Member may buy skins from us, and the Member may sell skins to us for money. In each transaction the Member deals with us directly, and we act as principal — we sell to the Member from our own stock, and we buy from the Member onto our own account.
2.2 The Platform is not a marketplace, an exchange or a venue that connects Members with one another. Members do not transact with each other, and no peer-to-peer trading occurs through the Platform. We are the merchant of record for every sale we make to a Member and the counterparty for every purchase we make from a Member, and we do not process payments on behalf of any third party.
2.3 Skins are virtual items within the Steam and CS2 environment operated by Valve Corporation; their availability, tradability and any external value depend on Valve’s rules and are outside our control. We are independent of Valve and Steam, are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them, and do not act on their behalf. All items are digital, and no physical goods are supplied.
Article 3 — Eligibility and Steam sign-in
3.1 The Platform is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old, or the applicable age of majority in their jurisdiction if higher. By using the Platform the Member confirms: "I confirm that I am at least 18 years old." We may ask the Member to reconfirm this and may suspend access where age eligibility cannot be established. The Member is responsible for checking that buying and selling skins is lawful where the Member is located.
3.2 Steam is the Platform’s only sign-in method. On sign-in the Member is redirected to Steam’s own authentication page; we never receive or store the Member’s Steam password or login credentials. Steam provides us, as a third-party source, with a limited set of profile information — Steam ID, display name, avatar, profile URL and account status — together with the trade link the Member supplies, which we use to identify the account and to move skins to and from the Member’s Steam inventory.
3.3 The Member must keep the Steam account secure and able to send and receive trade offers, keep the trade link current, and take responsibility for activity in the signed-in session unless the fault is ours. Suspected unauthorised access must be reported to [email protected] without delay. One Steam account may be linked to one Platform account only. At checkout the Member provides a contact email address for order confirmations, receipts, delivery updates and refund enquiries; this does not create a separate email-based login, and the Member must ensure the address is accurate.
3.4 The Platform is not available to anyone located in, resident in or connecting from Afghanistan, Belarus, the Central African Republic, Cuba, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Haiti, Iran, North Korea, Myanmar, the Russian Federation, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela or the British Virgin Islands. We may restrict access further where sanctions, legal, regulatory or fraud-prevention considerations require it.
Article 4 — Buying skins from us
4.1 Skins offered for sale are priced in euro (EUR). The price shown at checkout is the total payable to us, with no mandatory charge added afterwards; any fee the Member’s bank or card issuer applies is outside our control. We accept Visa and Mastercard, and may add other methods. The Member’s full card details are entered into and processed only by a third-party gateway certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and are not stored on our systems. The Member’s statement may show DIGITAL NOXEN LIMITED and skin-vibe.live.
4.2 A skin displayed for sale is an invitation to purchase rather than a binding offer. A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of the Member's order, including through an order confirmation sent to the email entered at checkout. We initiate delivery by sending a Steam trade offer to the Member's supplied trade link. Delivery is completed only when the Member accepts the offer and the purchased skin is recorded in the Member's Steam inventory, as shown by the relevant Steam trade records. A trade offer that is merely sent or pending, expires, is rejected or is cancelled does not in itself constitute completed delivery. An incorrect or restricted trade link, a Steam ban, hold, inventory restriction or cooldown, Steam Guard or Valve system disruption may delay delivery; we will review the transaction and handle re-delivery or a refund in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable law.
4.3 If we identify an obvious pricing or product-information error, stock unavailability or another issue preventing fulfilment, we may refuse an order before accepting it and will tell the Member. If payment has been taken, we will return the amount received to the original payment method without undue delay. If an accepted order cannot be fulfilled, we will notify the Member, offer a reasonable replacement only with the Member's agreement, or provide the refund required by our Refund Policy and applicable consumer law. We will not impose an undisclosed mandatory fee or substitute a different skin without the Member's consent.
Article 5 — Selling skins to us
5.1 The Member may offer eligible skins for sale to us from the Member’s Steam inventory. When the Member requests a sale, we display an offer price, which is our gross valuation of the skin. If the Member accepts, the Member sends the skin to us by Steam trade offer; once we have received the skin into our inventory and verified it, the sale is complete and we become the owner of the skin.
5.2 A commission of 3% of the sale value applies to each skin sold to us. The amount the Member receives is the offer price less our 3% commission; the commission is our charge for providing the buy-back service and is made clear before the Member confirms the sale. The Member warrants that they are the lawful owner of each skin sold, that it is free of any third-party claim, and that they are entitled to sell it.
5.3 We may decline to buy any skin, including where its origin cannot be established, where a Steam restriction applies, or where a fraud, sanctions or other compliance concern arises. We may pause a transaction or its payout while reasonably necessary verification is pending. If we do not accept a proposed sale, no payment or 3% commission is due and we will cancel the pending trade offer or, if the skin has already entered our inventory, arrange its return where technically and lawfully possible. If a Steam restriction prevents return, we will contact the Member to agree the appropriate next steps; nothing in this clause removes mandatory legal rights.
5.4 Title to a skin the Member sells passes to us on completion. If a completed sale is later found to involve a skin the Member was not entitled to sell, or an item obtained unlawfully, we may reverse the transaction, recover the amount paid and suspend the account, without prejudice to any other remedy.
Article 6 — Payments to the Member for skins sold
6.1 The net amount due for a completed sale, being the agreed offer price less the disclosed 3% commission, is paid in euro (EUR) to the external payout method provided by the Member. We do not provide a transferable or withdrawable cash wallet. Once we have received and verified the skin and any necessary identity, ownership and payout checks have been completed, we will normally initiate the payout within five business days. Payment-provider processing may require additional time before the funds appear in the Member's account. If required compliance checks remain incomplete, the five-business-day period begins when those checks are completed; we will give an update about a material delay where lawful and reasonably possible.
6.2 We may apply limits, holds or additional checks to payouts where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security or legal compliance, and may decline or reverse a payout linked to a transaction that is fraudulent, unlawful or in breach of these Terms. The Member is responsible for any tax that may arise on amounts received from selling skins and for declaring it where local law requires; we do not provide tax advice.
Article 7 — Verification, anti-money-laundering and monitoring
7.1 Because Members may receive money when selling skins to us, we apply risk-based identity, ownership, sanctions, fraud-prevention and financial-crime controls to sales and payouts. Where proportionate, we may request identity evidence, confirmation of control over the Steam account and payout method, or information about an item's source. We perform any mandatory anti-money-laundering checks where the applicable law requires them; we do not describe all verification as a statutory anti-money-laundering duty. A transaction may be paused or declined if necessary information is not supplied or a legal or security concern remains unresolved.
7.2 We may monitor buying, selling, payout and account activity for fraud prevention, sanctions and anti-money-laundering purposes and to meet our legal obligations, and may report suspicious activity to the competent authorities where the law requires. The payment gateway that processes card payments for purchases carries out its own payment-security and screening checks under its own procedures.
7.3 We may restrict, suspend or close an account, decline or reverse an order, sale or payout, or withhold a payout, where reasonably necessary because of misuse, a security or compliance concern, a legal requirement, a chargeback or a decision by the payment gateway. Where appropriate and lawful, we will tell the Member and explain briefly.
Article 8 — Cancellation, conduct and account closure
8.1 For a consumer distance purchase of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 ordinarily provide a 14-day cancellation period starting the day after the contract is made. If a Member requests delivery within that period, we must obtain the Member's separate, express agreement before supply begins and a clear acknowledgement that the statutory cancellation right will be lost once supply begins, if the legal conditions are satisfied. We obtain this at checkout, separately from agreement to the Terms, and confirm the agreement and acknowledgement in the order confirmation sent to the email provided at checkout, which the Member can save. We treat a skin as delivered only after the Steam trade offer has been accepted and the item appears in the Member's inventory. Where the required consent, acknowledgement or confirmation is missing, statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected. In all cases, the Refund Policy and non-excludable rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 continue to apply. A Member selling their own skin to us is acting as the seller and does not acquire the buyer's 14-day consumer cancellation right in respect of that sale.
8.2 The Member must not use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or abusive purpose; sell skins they do not own or are not entitled to sell; use bots, scripts or automated tools, or exploit errors; attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Platform; submit false refund or chargeback claims; or use the Platform in breach of sanctions, export-control or anti-money-laundering law. A breach may lead to suspension, restriction or closure of the account and, in serious cases, to legal action.
8.3 The Member may close the account at any time by contacting [email protected]; any order, sale or payout in progress is first completed, reversed or refunded as appropriate. Where we suspend, restrict or close an account we will, where appropriate and lawful, tell the Member and explain briefly, and the Member may appeal in writing to [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge complaints and appeals within five business days and to give a substantive response within fourteen business days of receiving the information needed to review them.
Article 9 — Liability and governing law
9.1 All content of the Platform — its software, design, text and branding — belongs to DIGITAL NOXEN LIMITED or its licensors and may not be copied, adapted or distributed without our written permission.
9.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss arising from third-party platform decisions, Steam trade restrictions, incorrect trade-link details or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If the Member is a consumer, nothing here affects mandatory rights available under the law of the Member’s country of residence.
9.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules in the Member's country of residence. Updates will be published on the Platform with a revision date and will not remove rights already accrued under accepted orders.
